I'm working in a dental lab and can cast pretty much anything up to certain size but i also have an access to rapid prototype printers in 3 different materials and elctro silver plaiting unit. miniature was made from real 3D xray scan using a really basic software and printed in nylon, then i took a silicon impression of the front part of the skull, silver plate the inside of it and then filled in "the silver mask" with resin, a bit of polishing et voilà :-) i like an idea of animal skull, bird a specially, freaky!
