The fact of the matter is he does things that only Aquilani has shown capable of...call it subtlety or cultured forren shit. On the attack if an option isn't on he's happy to retain possession by going backward and looking for better options not just "banging it into the mixer" on a wing and a prayer.
Stevie G our Best player?!?! Get your head outta the sand. When he last played he was doing those piss poor over hit hollywood balls all over the place trying to do everything. If he gets back to doing a specific job well(like under Rafa), then great but that title has to earned.
Lets see who'll be crying IF Raul does the business for them and we potentially struggle with options from the bench at least.

I don't care if he is player of the season, or what he did for us. The bottom line is if he wants to leave let him leave. I'd say the same for Suarez or anyone else on the team.
