My friend wants to turn her hybrid into a something that rolls a bit better.
She has 26"x1.95 'offroadish' tyres fitted on at the moment so I suggested she gets thinner, slick MTB tyres.
She's on a budget and I found these on ebay, £9.99 a pair, 26x1.5 but they will definitively be rubbish. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PAIR-MOUNTAIN-BIKE-CYCLE-TYRES-26-X-1-5-BLACK-SLICK-/320695386097?_trksid=p4012.m8&_trkparms=algo%3DMW%26its%3DC%26itu%3DUCC%26otn%3D15%26po%3DLCA%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D2588182512467794984
I had a look online and I found a couple like this Michelin City 26x1.4 at £11.99 a pop: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=58799 I know that's already better quality.
Or even those Schawlbe City Jets at £19.99 a pair. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260848602491?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
Do any of you have 26" slick tyres lying about either new or very good used condition?
Cheers
