I have searched the forums and would like to bring this thread back to life....I love baking!

Anyone else share this passion? My most recent achievement, New York Cheesecake (with a few chocolate sprinkles) good for the taste buds, bad for the waistline!

What ingrdients did you use?

Recently been playing with a chick pea cake thats made from chick peas mashed, lemon and loads of splendida. Tastes good but left for a few days.

Also looking at cannonoli but playing with either high gluten powder or other low carb flour.

The cake looks lovely. But the curtains will have to go!

Shit just got real in my kitchen, lemon drizzle cake fo' shizzle, ma nizzle. Smells nice but got no cake baking trays and so cooking it in a big arsed thing I usually do chips in. I'm not cut out for this baking lark, but it's the GF's birthday, Tenners has been giving me tips on how to show a lady a good time.

it's out and about the right colour (racist) time to cool that mutha off and ladle a load of icing over it. Shall I decorate it and if so can I have some suggestions for designs. I can stuff some icing into a plastic bag and cut the corner off to make a sort of piping thingy but nothing more creative than that
