So nothing to do with the fact that Kinky didn't like him?
mireles was a good player but we have loads of midfielders plus kenny reduces his net spend yet further at this rate he'll be breaking even
yep, it had been flaunted all summer to be fair... another Chelsea tap up?
I was very disappointed with the transfer request as late in the day as it was, but we're only seeing what the club wants us to see. I suspect it'll bite us in the ass, that or Lucas will have him in his pocket in November
The issue was to do with the previous regime (woy and the fat cunt toads) promising him contractual improvements that the new peeps didn't feel like doing. His body language this season said something was up.
You don't sell players that do things that others can't to rival teams. You don't have an open bus parade with accountants and spread sheets- he wasn't on huge monies and deserved more based on experience and performance.
A lot of the comments on this from lfc fans have put paid to the mythical bull spouted about them being "the most knowledageble" <<<<<<<<<<
What short memories folk have. Folk getting carried away with our early form giving it the big uns, like, "we don't need him" and "he jumped out of challenges"
A couple of slips ups and the pressure is straight back on us.
I predict: getting less out of tight games now, and looking somewhat pedestrian in advanced positions. If we fail to qualify in the top 4, Suarez getting off. Arsenal really getting their shit together.
Hope I'm wrong.
the trouble with england teams (past present and future) is it's been consistently populated with thick cunts, this gets them through most of the time but up against opposition with a bit of guile it all goes out the window because nobody can think on their feet add in weak ineffectual management and you have consistent losses against the real top teams. this is unlikely to change soon.
international football can get fucked.
THIS. I hate the fact a player plays for an unfashionable team, is over looked, then signs for a "big" team and magically gets included. WTF?! This buffers up ego and complacency in one go.
I'm not convinced he'll be all that at CFC, I think he had a coupla good games at LFC when Stevie Me was injured but apart from that... Meh... We'll see...
clearly don't get it. His is the first name on the national team sheet. Given the cumbersome nature of your squad - assuming he given an advanced role not, not just sat in the middle- he will bring another much needed dimension between the lines.
