Thanks, but I did bother to check and search, and as I said above I was looking for something a little less B-road-ish. I'll be riding back the next day so will probably take one of the more direct routes - i.e. the 'classic' forum route you have linked to. Not that the forum route is crap, either, it's just I've done it a couple of times before and wanted something a little different. I guess when I said 'impatience' it implied I was expecting other people to do all the legwork...I wasn't. oops.
