Personally, I don't like barring anyone from polo, so I would be happy for everyone to come, as long as they realise what level it's being played at, and play accordingly.
B, quite often in normal throwin nights if you arent one of the top players and get thrown in with a couple of top players, its not unusual for them to just hog the ball and shoot or pass between themselves and therefore exclude players who are considered a lower standard from the game. This can make things pretty boring and you learn fuck all from it so I can totally see why intermediates would want to start their own night and play throwin polo that is more focused on improvement than just taking long shots.
Im not going cause its south and I only go south for team games but its a good idea
I can see b's issue with it if people (like me) only have a limited number of days to play polo and go to intermediates instead of souths. And because of that souths doesn't get enough people.
I hope that the majority of Monday night intermediates go to wednesday too...
Having said that I'm up for the odd Monday night. Can't make tonight, but would come next week if I have a ridable polo bike (which I hope to).
Because it's another exclusive night at newt. Do it somewhere else, where people don't normally play
um, people have and will want to play mondays, be it drill nights, random teams nights, random throw-ins, league games, etc.
if it's ad-hoc i'm cool, but a regular night i'm not happy about. Would you be happy if it was at downs on a monday?
all sensible suggestions and responses.
