Friend just said that the communal parking in his building was cleaned out last night.
His Marin Muirwoods went, locked with an Abus D lock (not sure which one, but it wasn't as chunky as the Granit X/54). So did any other reasonable looking bike. A few cropped locks littering the floor apparently.
He lives on Wick Lane between the A12 and the Olympic Site. Looks like he's about to find out whether it was worth paying for insurance.
