Wanted: Winter Training Bike

I'm looking to getting into long cycle rides and maybe doing a few sportives and triathlons.

But I want a winter training bike to see me through this winter until the spring have a budget of about £200 to spend. Would like and aluminium frame with carbon forks etc.

I may be asking for the moon on a stick here!

ok ive got a nice hardley used very nice raleigh racing bike record sprint 501
in good condition and ready to ride
700c rigida q/r wheels.
it has 12 gears, shimano group set
reynolds 501 double butted (quite light )
recent shwarble blizzard sport tyres and new tubes
weinman brakes.
the bike hasnt done alot and has spent most of its time in the garage.
i can post the bike no problems,can email photos £100 posted great winter bike

Sounds good have pm'ed, ideally like a carbon fork aluminium frame with Sti shifters, but if it's good I'll take it!

yes hence i said £200 in the first post

sorry didn't see that - I'm out as I have a bike that'd be suitable but not at that money, although may be able to de-tune the bike down to closer to that mark.....pm if interested
