Soviet rider Aleksandr Kiritchenko finishing third in the kilometre time trial at the World Championships in Lyon on Tuesday 15 Aug 1989. Kirichenko crashed some weeks before this race with the result a bent handlebar. The team mechanic just bent the handlebar back again...
