With regret I need to liquidate one of my bikes and with winter fast approaching/here already it's the beater that's getting saved.
The frame is a Cannondale 2.8 (2.8lb/1.3kg), which was introduced in the early 90's and has the cantilevered chainstays from earlier models. In typical Cannondale fashion, the aluminium tubing has some interesting features...the top tube is vertically ovalised at the headtube junction and horizontally ovalised at the seatube. Also, the downtube balloons toward the bottom bracket, giving a very stiff ride.
Full Dura Ace 7700 group and the most comfy saddle I've ever ridden. Gears and brakes serviced today and hubs regreased. It's a 54cm frame but actual geo's are slightly larger...see here (http://66.147.244.179/~vintagm8/year/1995/1995.pdf) page 61.
It's lived a pampered life, but even so it's been ridden and so there are some marks. These are only cosmetic - cable rub on headtube and foot rub on cranks. Many of the parts have been sourced from the good people on this forum, so I'm just looking to recoup some of what I paid.
