What to do when an ex won't give back the 24month contracted phone you pay each month (£25+£8.99 Insurance)? and she has never contributed towards the costs... Which I stupidly opened 3 months ago so we can communicate anytime.

HTC Desire HD, Unlimited Net, loads of calls and texts yardiyayayah... While I'm stuck with a HTC Wildfire... >_<

1) Send her a text or e-mail explaining that the contract is still in your name and asking her either to take steps to transfer payment obligations to her name and account or return the phone. Ask her to confirm that she will do this within 24/48 hours.

2) If she does not respond or refuses, go to the phone company - visit a branch - and explain the position and ask them what can be done. Can they cancel and replace the SIM or whatever.

3) Do not lie to anyone. Do not involve the police unless the phone company suggests that you do.
