I was very disappoint, left at 1.30 after listening to an hour n half of defected style disco/house edits that sounded WAAAAY out of date, then he'd play some even more dated sounding latiny/salsa'y shite. Every 8 or so records he'd play a proper tough/deep/pumper, the sort of stuff I wanted and expected to hear and you'd think 'about time, here we go' then he'd play some shite after it
No flow, no continuity and I was BORED!
He played some shite Housed up version of Patrice Rushen 'Haven't You Heard'(no, not 'Daddies Favourites'), a shite Housed up version of Sheila E 'Love Bizarre', a shite Housed up version of Teddy Prendergast 'The More I Get' and other Salsouly/Housed up things and mid/late 90's MAW sounding latin house shite
Like I said, I left after the first opening bars of James Brown 'I Know You Got Soul'
