i went to car workshop down the road and used their vise and mechanics hands to remove my shimano one (of course i had the right tool just not enough muscle power)I have the wi freewheel and the park tool freewheel remover seems to fit very well onto it

Unfortunately it's not a torque issue. It's just going to tear the notches off if I keep at it like I have been. Need something a bit more snug.

Dunno, park tool shimano remover doesn't seem to fit onto shimano freewheel perfectly either. I thought that's just the way it is.
I guess the WI tool is just much better designed.
