That Berry would make a lovely path bike with some guards
-

That's better - the wheels you now see are the track sprints - not the road ones...

Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out some track frames and a pair of superb track wheels. Shipping on frames and wheels within the UK within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.
ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL
Unless specifically described I do not guarantee headsets or BBs which are fitted to frames. With all frames I can fit headsets or BBs - headset fitting costs £12; please see my latest headset thread:
http://www.lfgss.com/thread53572.html
for details of what is available.
Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 4%…
** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. Otherwise it may well be sold to the next person who wants it...**
Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

VENOM TRACK FRAME 1994
Seat Tube (ctt): 22.75in (57.5cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 45mm
Frame tubing: Columbus Nivachrom double butted steel
Venom made an enviable reputation in the 1990s for their beautiful crafted Tig-welded frames. This track frame from 1994 is in excellent condition and has the beautiful neat Tig welds – so neat you might mistake them for fine fillet brazing. And look at the minimalist strip seatstay and chainstay bridges... With the Carbon forks £225, without forks and headset SOLD
DAVE HINDE TRACK FRAME Columbus Neuron
Seat Tube (ctt): 20.5in (52cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 20in (51cm)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 43mm
Frame tubing: Columbus Neuron Nivachrome tubing
This Dave Hinde track frame dates from the second half of the 1990s. It is built from Columbus Neuron tubing which was one of the close to top in the range, Nivachrome was the highest strength Columbus steel alloy made at the time. Its in very good condition - the paint is quite useable but has quite a number of scratches and scrapes though generally these are not very obtrusive. £195
JOHNNY BERRY TRACK FRAME 1961
Seat Tube (ctt): 24in (61cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 23in (57cm)
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 54mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Johnny Berry was one of the most highly regarded of the Manchester framebuilders – his frames are consistently built to a high standard. There is a lot more information on him at http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/builders/berry-builder.html This frame dating from 1961 was designed as a road track – it has mudguard eyelets and is drilled for brakes front and rear. The rear ends are heavily reinforced so track racing, I am sure, was in also in mind to road use. Clearances are really for 700C/sprints, not 27s though they would just about fit in. The frame finish is very useable but the decals are worn except for the one on the seat tube. A great retro track frame. SOLD
VIKING TRACK FRAME 1960s
Seat Tube (ctt): 21in (53cm)
Top Tube (ctc): 21.25in (54cm)
Rear dropout width: 112mm
Wheel size: 700C/sprints with brake drop of 55mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
This Viking track frame dates I think from the early 1960s. Its in very sound condition but could probably do with a repaint – I am not certain the forks are original but they are certainly of the correct pattern. A great opportunity to get a track frame at a bargain price... £135
MAVIC SINGLE FIXED TRACK HUBS on 28H MAVIC GP4 SPRINT RIMS (for tubular tyres) Excellent lightly used condition and a gorgeous set of very light track wheels SOLD subject to payment
