Riders on the Wirral, Merseyside and in Cheshire?

There seems to an absence of fixed gear riders in these parts (plenty of cyclists though)

Just wondering who else is from round here? Would be a shame to waste some good riding routes.

Some of my friends ride in Liverpool - not sure if they're on here though!

It's not really fixed country round here though is it! I ride Heswall to West-Kirby most days and Thurstastone hill is a killer!

I guess not, plenty of road racers on the chester high road at weekends though.

Sweet! Riding to thurstaston hill and back is always nice on an evening, I'm in neston actually!

Ah cool, I live in the city centre during my Uni semesters, never know where to ride around Liverpool.

Where are the best places to ride around Liverpool? It seems like you have to travel a fair distance outside of the city centre before you hit any nice roads.

I've just moved up to Liverpool - originally from Devon via NZ for 4 years. I ride fixed but on a Bob Jackson with brakes and mudguards - not skids and tricks fixed...
there are some great rides - went into lancashire last weekend - nice rolling countryside and easy to get to but potholed to buggery

Evening, there are a few of us around and most cyclist will be heading for the two mills cafe on the chester high road on a sunday, I live by sefton park and i can vouch that there are a few fixies in the area.
However i just ride a bike day in day out currently a black and white cervelo and in in my club red.white black kit.
A nod wave will surfice ,
