Not really looking for a specific price, but I have a fork from a Raleigh team banana and I know the team bananas usually fetch the lowest prices in the 2nd hand market. But is the team banana fork much worse than most of the steel forks out there? Will they be an OK match for a Harry Quinn frame made of Vitus 181 tubing?
The reason I ask is because I have to respray/powder coat the frame anyhow so I wonder if I should send the Raleigh forks in for a respray in the same colour or wait until I have bought another (better) set of forks. The most practial alternative I could find is to buy a generic chromed fork for 70 quid from BLB.
