Any reason the Magnum Blok UL X200 is not in the 16mm section ?
I have it (as well as some of the others) and it is a good bargain at £20. Don't know how good the lock is, but it seems relatively well made even compared to my Abus X54 and Fahg. Just very heavy at 3kg and IMO with too bigger shackle gap unless you have a lamppost and a mountain bike with fat tyres.
Having locked up my family cycle stable over the past months with various U-locks (most on the list), the budget Blok is one of the ones am impressed with.
Unlike the Kabrus XL303 - I need to borrow a micrometer but I don't believe it really is 17mm thick, I think they have included the rubber - can someone who has one check it? Plus the hinge looks extremely vulnerable and I doubt it would stand up to much brute force. One I only use a second or third lock. IMO better to use one of their alarm padlocks in conjunction with a better lock.
Am also less than impressed with the Xena Bullet XUL (I have the small length version). Yes it looks imposing (even sexy), but the lock mechanism is very fiddly/annoying and constantly comes out when you don't need it, and just looks like a weak mechanism. Some toerag might find the thick shackle very hard to cut, but I think drilling the lock would not be hard - but then I am no season criminal or locksmith, so am happy to be contradicted.
