Yep!
But just average torso so having a monster sized frame isn't the option as it stretches me out too much. Monster seat posts work a lot better especially as my measurement from saddle rails to the centre of the BB is 80cm!
You get more of an idea what I mean with my road bike.......
...........and I know about the saddle already! Lol

So green is your favorite colour?

Built my brother's bike today. (He's on here somewhere and he took some better pictures when we got back to his place, so they'll probably appear soon.)
- Cougar 653 road frameset (Cinelli BB shell, Campagnolo dropouts, chromed 653 forks)
- 3ttt stem from the parts bin
- Nitto B259AA bars
- Tekto RL levers
- 105 5700 brakes + Swissstop green pads
- Condor seatpost
- Turbo saddle
- SRAM S300 1.1 chainset
- Shimano freewheel
- KMC chain
- Wheels are Open Sport on Formula with DT Comp spokes
- Rubino Pro 25C tyres
- and Sylvan pedals
Came in over the £400 budget but not too bad considering everything except the frame, stem and toeclips is new.
It's a hoot to ride. The front end is light (the forks are really nice) and the steering is super fast. Actually quite liked the risers when I rode it, although once or twice I did wish I could get in the drops and give it the full beans.

Really like Cougar frames.
Think I might be reposting myself.

It's a sweet frame. Properly tight geometry - we had to deflate the tyre to get the rear wheel in the dropouts. It's just big enough to avoid toe overlap though, which is a bonus.

Lovely work on the Raleigh,

Just need a lo-pro frame now to spend the winter stripping down and turning into the TT version of the Team Banana bike.

New road frame... finally!
I've been procrastinating about a more modern road frame for aaaaggggggeesss. I know it's not the most modern frame with a 1" steerer and the welds aren't the most refined, but it's got carbon forks and an ahead, so it'll do. Just need to switch the DA groupset and sell my Roberts.

I was eyeing up that frame but reasoned myself out of buying it :) (supposed to be clearing out bike parts, not buying...) Should build up great!

Good thing you bought that, otherwise I would have done on payday next week! What have you got in mind to build it with?

That never works.

@ allshownogo: you really find those saddle angles comfortable, over long distances? One of my mates has his set up like that on his commuter and I just can't get my head around it.

I had the same thing in reverse when i put drops on my bike. To start off with I wasn't sure i'd adapt to it but literally within an hour it felt really good. You'll get used to, fear not!
and then within a week you're bored again.

Looks very nice, agreed. I reckon the stem might be a tad long with those bars, but as always you'd have to ride to see.
6"5, jeeze you monster!
