Just got them on with the help of two blunt knives.
Worked really well. To think, that's what worked in the end. My fingers are torn to shreds though from all the attempts.
Now to get brakes that have a very shallow drop and my project will be rideable. I had Shimano 600 calipers but they are pinching below the braking surface!
Thanks for the advice. To think, an entire build from scratch, including the wheels, and the only bit I struggle with is getting the tyres on!
