What's hitting the chainstay? Crank, spider or chainring?
The normal Miche BB can be moved sideways a bit if the clearance issue is only on the drive side, since there are no lock rings. This makes a virtue out of a vice in your case.
Cinelli, unlike most people, do seem to favour the small frame sizes with shorter stays, so the new XS size might be the only one to have a problem, but in general it's not that unusual for the spider to hit the drive side chainstay particularly with alloy frames, since the stays tend to be thicker than the steel ones people had in mind when crankset design was settled. It will obviously be worse with the 144mm PCD sets than the older 135mm ones. Which do you have?
Of course, you should keep all of this quiet, since there is likely to be mockery if people find out you bought either a Mash or a Miche, neither of which is well regarded here.
