http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=34695 these are probably a good bet, or any other lever that fits your bars and has short pull for road brakes

You would be best to try a lever with a hinge , ie odyssey monolever I had one mounted on a grip and it held up perfect , I'll stick up a picture when I get home , they have them on chain reaction btw

well, you could take the new grips off, use some of that foam rubber tape stuff you get with light kits and shim the promax 239a levers, then slip the grips back on, save yourself the cost of new levers.

thats sounds great apart from I don't understand anything you just said..

Use the little bit of rubber that come with light sets (or some bits of tape, or cardboard, or paper, or candy wrappers, or bits of skin) to go in the circly bits of the levers that are too big to make the levers fit on the too small riser bar. then put the grips on as normal....this is called shimming, not to be confused with rimming which is something you do to wheels....

Or just shim it up with a beer/coke can much easier to fit and you can fit more layers of tin if needed.

Shimming it up with a can would definitely be the easiest short-term solution. Whenever I've done that it's worked itself loose after a couple of months, but it costs nothing to replace so no problem there.
Got a new charge plug racer and wanted to put risers on it instead. Got some from brick lane bikes along with their longer grips. The charge plug levers however are too big for the bars and too small to fit over the grips?
I suppose I will have to get new levers to fit them, any suggestions? Thanks in advance..
