• i picked this up off a mate but tbh i dont need it, its the top spec ipad, all the bells and whistles.

the glass on the screen is slightly cracked, really hard to take photos of but i think i summed it up. this doesnt affect the touch screen or the picture at all and when the backlight is on the cracks are hardly visible

i dont know where the box is but can chuck in a charger for an extra fiver as i have 2.

not sure what to put the price at considering they are £659 new, but ill start at £450

can get better photos etc etc

  • yeah im sure someone skilled can fix it, i am not that person unfortunately

  • forgot to mention, its factory unlocked so any micro-sim will work in it.. here is me browsing this very thread with the sim from my iphone haha

  • Hey,

How is this cosmetically bar the glass? How did it get broken in the first place?

Quite interested in saving on the massive RRP from Apple...

    Cheers

  • hi man im really interested in this, will you post abroad?

  • @siento there are some minor scuffs on the back but nothing really major at all. and i dropped it :-( ive actually just booked a genius appointment as a friend of mine dropped a jug on his and apple replaced his free. so going to try that on saturday

  • Hi there, what version i pad is this? is it a 32gb? also, I can't see where the CD slot is so I can load windows XP. Cheers

Please tell me you are trolling.

  • the apple store in reading are a bunch of idiots and tried to tell me it would cost £337. i rang up apple care and they said it will be a lot less than that and because its the top spec ipad thats the maximum they can charge for any repair (they just take it in and give you a new one). either way BUMP i still should get rid of it as i dont need it at all!!

apparently this place does it well http://www.fixmyiphone.co.uk/servicing-options/ipad2/glass/3/9/

which still saves you over £100 on RRP but if you arent bothered by the crack then it still works fine. and of course the £35 magnetic cover thing..

    offers please gentlemen

  • £420....
