Stolen bikes

Not sure if this was a theft or not, but I noticed a gloss black track bike (didnt observe what brand) without wheels outside Clissold Leisure Centre when I went in there this morning, and not there when I left, and there was a cut cable lock on the floor. It may be that the owner had their wheels nicked as they were just locked with a cable and came back to get the frame - didnt observe how that was secured.
Anyway, if it is yours, it was stolen, and you need CCTV, it happened between about 8.10 and 8.45 this morning. I spoke to reception, but they could not have given less of a shit.

A few weeks ago, I had my charge dish wheels stolen from my bike, from outside my house. Never heard anything from the police (they sent me a letter closing the incident), ebay, gumtree and bricklane sunday market. My gf left her bike (Argos 753, sexy as hell) outside, fully chained and locked the other night. She got up during the night to get a drink and heard noises outside. Opened the window to find two guys - one with a backpack full of tools (bolt cutters and hacksaws!!!!) going at her locks! She screamed at them out of the window(idiot), and they bolted on two bikes. Only description she got was one of them had a chequered coat and matching rucksack. One was black and the other white.

So yeah if you live on/near camden road, don't leave your bike out!!!

My graham weigh has been stolen from my house in southsea Portsmouth. I know this is lfgss but in case anyone further out.spots it.
Metallic blue almost.peacock colour. Geared. Campag Athena group. Mavic rims.
It's quite unusual in colour.

Damn! Sorry to hear this johnball hope you get some good news soon. Can I ask how your Kona was locked and with what? Reason being I'm going to be cycling to Covent Garden and locking my bike outside fairly regularly. Thanks.

A mate of mine had his black Fuji Classic stolen from the bike hoops on the corner of Park St and Redcross Way (there's a black Raleigh there that's been stripped).

It's black, with a brown brooks saddle, black riser and grips and running single speed. He uses a pretty beefy abus lock that got chomped through.

My mate got there but it was no longer around. Now there's some hipster with no ethics riding around on it. Why don't the police crack down on the people blatantly selling stolen bikes on Brick Lane?

Hey all. My friend just had his 2009 Trek 1.2 stolen outside the Pembury Tavern in Hackney. The frame is black with red and white details, white bar tape and saddle, plus black pannier rack and kick stand.
