There was a fantastic fox sitting with a mouse in it's mouth outside my office last night. It was playing with it, letting it run around then picking it up in its jaws softly, then dropping it. It wasn't at all fazed when I came outside and sat watching it - about 10 feet away.
They can be pretty awesome when they're not mangy buggers pestering babies in Hackney.
