One in one out!I got around this by building 2 (pretty much same as yours, but with big sprung brooks saddles on), one for me, and one for her. A lot of time and effort and first time she used them both with a friend and they were stolen.(so that was 2 out i guess)
However the brief ride i did have, i really enjoyed, great fun and surprisingly nippy across town. Well worth the money, you would spend more to make it like this even with a free 20 to start! -

Well the missus got her twenty also! And a step through with 700c so we're in 2 bikes each basis! Therefore I news to sell this to get me a new road bike!
But yeah this is waaay too much fun to ride! -

£100 is reasonable, I sold mine for £75 with decent tyres and new back wheel (coaster brake).

Respect!! I had a Twenty rat bike in Haringey early '80's, blew out a rear tyre cos of a dodgy rim whilst being pursued by the Old Bill after a very drunken ride from a party..... ah memories!

• #17

-
• #18
I would love this, If I had some cash, and different values :(

I'm 5,6 and a half! Shorty, my track bike measures 52cm square but te bottom bracket says 51! Inseam of 30"! This one has a 300mm seat post and isn't all on show! Also you could alway get a longer stem! But my Friend is 5,9 way taller than me and he fits perfect!

this is getting silly
Times are hard and I want a new bike even harder, therefore my Raleigh twenty which started as a rat but quickly upgrade with better parts!
A stock Raleigh twenty non foldable I believe from the 70's in a brown/ copper colour post has seen better days, it has a small crack under the bottom bracket where the kick stand used to be attached(nothing that a bit of welding could fix) the bike is made of heavy pipe so is very stiff! The wheels were recently using a unbranded front hub 48h lace to some alex rim 20" 406 and the rear is a suzue 48h flip flop fixed/free lace to alex rim, the rim show braking surface wearing, schwalbe marathon, done less than 40 miles on it, I kept the original bottomr bracket and cranks! New unbranded micro seat post, re threaded steering and new headset, tall quill stem and original risers bar! Used Bmx dia compe bull dog caliper and lever! Cheap grips from eBay and a "made in Italy" saddle unkwon make but comfy! Recently re cover but very badly, No pedals on this sale I'm afraid. I want £90 plus postage and I think is a fair price as the wheels plus tyres was £70+
Dibs follow by pm! I'll try and answer all the questions! Trade for a nice road gear frame is also consider!
Thanks
