Wanted: 8 or 9 Speed cassette (Shimano)

I'm trying to put gears on my polo bike. It has an old XT hub on it which is 8-speed era. Want to put something with a 26 (or there around) on it. Anyone got anything kicking around? MTB or road, not bothered.

Wait. Or 9 speed. Same freehub body. I am simple.

I have 2 part bodies, one has 3 sprockets 21-27, the other 5 sprockets 28-15, could possibly make up a 9 of bits and bobs if you're not bother about the lower gears.

no no ....the main bodies ie all rivetted together, are 3 sprockets or 5, and I'd make up to a 9 using one of those clustered items

horatio - you say 8 or 9 speed, what shifter do you have? 8 or 9 speed? or both?

Sadly I haven't got a cassette for you, but good luck in your search.

9, but I also have a friction somewhere if worse came to worse (assuming a friction would work?)

I have a 9spd Ultegra casette, been ridden quite a lot, but still alive, should (?) be fine for polo?
