Surely you want to post this in the "Floating Pool Devices Purchasing Advice" thread?

Good turnaround:
Take into account the parts and the hours polishing the crankset and it doesn't seem that worth it.

For the 29ers,

£450 for practically a whole bike

Thoughts on this old thing? The auction ended awhile ago, but I spoke to the chap and he reckon £75 and it's mine. The bikes fairly ratty, but I'm after a frame to strip and rebuild, and this has nice lugs. The seat alone would be worth a couple of quid even though it's starting to crack a wee bit.

Hand Bite Off. the seats worth £50 on the bay with a bit of a rub i recon and the lugs are lugalicous! ask him about the stem and seat post are they free, cos if they are seized might be a pain. looks to me like a nice resto project. IMHO [or leave its beautiful patina and ride a rat]

^ Thanks for the reply, I'll jump to it. I'd suggest at least the seat post is stuck, but there a ways and means... I'll probably strip and paint as my current ride is a dirty rat already and i want something shiny.
