ok just saw those pics on a laptop screen, they look terrible and dont do it any justice, just bought a pc and stil have to set it up ,then I can use my dslr for better photos.
prob not for another couple of days. maybe it will sell before then, it really is in beautiful condition, polished with wet&dry p400,p600,p1000,p1200, then brasso, degreased inside with tec7 degreaser, cotton buds and paper towels.
today I repacked with more grease for better weather sealing, still spins freely and very smooth. -

Looks so lonely... :[
yes, it needs a rich Italian parent to adobt it. Im selling a pair of Ofmega pista hubs, front hub is identical to this suntour, they all copied campy, except ofmega got their hub shells from the same factory as campy did, I prefer the suntour, the japanese know how to forge their metals -

For the asking price, I think this will only attract collectors or person who's desperately looking to complete his/her Suntour's gruppo. It's very very nice tho, but if I were to purchase it, I could never justify the price.
Good luck, I hope you'll find a buyer.

yes that makes sense, the price is about right tho since it's as rare as 1st gen superbe pista hubs and its nos, but it doesnt come with the rear. I could try ebay I suppose. the price includes insured postage which would cost around 12pound from Ireland. I guess the lowest I could do is £77. more than likely I'll be buying another fron hub that's gonna cost me around £100 anyway, Im looking for something more modern, thicker axle, cartridge bearings etc.
like I already mentioned, you can pair this with any rear high flange hub from 70/80's and nobody would notice its a mismatched pair. a rear used suntour superbe 1st gen costs in the region of £110 tho.

available again,
65euro plus shipping
Suntour Sprint(identical to Superbe model and a Campy clone)
1982(?)
36h
76mm flanges
that taper inwards
232g (including track nuts)
9mm axle
100mm spacing
chrome track nuts
spoke hole diameter 2.3mm
new in box mint++
This is identical to the 1st gen Suntour Superbe pista hub except it doesnt get the same polished finish in the factory, I have hand polished it myself to a mirror shine, prob better than the superbe finish(as I have literally a lot of time on my hands).
I degreased inside and put in some rock n roll super web grease, minimal amount in for least rolling resitance(not enough to keep out rain and grit, Id pack alot more in for better sealing if used on the road)
hub has never been built into a wheel, comes in original box.
pics later today
