i'll buy the frame for 50 pounds just one question the sort of round thing on the fork can it be cutt off without leaving a big whole?

sas7, be careful when attempting hacksaw use on 'weld-ons', remember that the hacksaw will have to be dead parallel with the fork or imprints WILL be made. Good luck with this bike, Phillips frames are extremely exquisite, if not the most durable!

i think it is for an old fashion light-i have sawed them off of forks then filled it down before-seemed to be fine for me

In my bid to rid my house of clutter I have 2 frames for sale the first is an old phillips "Tour of Britain Frame" its size is 57cm ST - BB, 61cm BB - Headstock. 40ono
The second is what looks like an eighties ladies Raleigh Riva, its 51cm BB-ST, and 61cm BB - Headstock, 30ono
I'm in the Midlands so can arrange courier approx £10 - £15
