This is pretty sickening. Got my fingers crossed for Simon - looks like he is now in a stable condition. The guy is made of strong stuff and will I am sure get back on the bike in time. We're all rooting for you and your family!

Hit and run. The very worst of the cowardly worst! Heal up very soon Simon. You sound, by all accounts like an absolute hard nut. Recovery a cert. Our thoughts with you and yours.

Worst thing about this is that he was only a Paralympian because of injuries he sustained when he was knocked off his bike before. Heal up matey...

Terrible ! If anyone can recover, Simon can. So strong, and he's going to need all that strength now. So unfair !
