@tomiskinky the phill wood+ plus shimano works however is expensive! Most of the cottered cranks works a treat if you look after them properly! There's a few other solutions o the bb problem and one of them is to get a new spindle 7 Japanese as their longer than usual but not everytime works! Depending on the year of the bike the bb width can vary from 71mm to 76mm, mine is the latest one! I managed to get a cotterless spindle to fit the twenty adding the cages for the ball bearing gave me some extra mm and the spindle fits perfect! However with the length of it the chain line for a fixed conversion was way out 5cm + ! About the steering I'm sure a good lbs should be able to re thread to take standard 24tpi headset as te Raleigh twenty comes with the funny nylon bushing which is not bad but not the best!
