Hey! 321polo! Is seeking positive, reliable, and informative players to better the original content that’s available on our site.
I’m especially looking for a coach type player that would be interested in doing a regular column involving game strategy. But we also need help with Player Profiles, Bike Checks and some as of yet unlaunched features.
Please contact@321polo.net if you would like to be considered for the team. Oh! and this blog makes $0 so please understand this isn’t a call for job applications, it’s a call for like minded people that are looking for an outlet that already has eyes on it.

    James? Joni?

  • In the same vain, I'm currently being asked all over the shop for polo articles (anything from 500+ words to 6 page features), if anyone feels like writing something (about the LO perhaps, or London polo in general, or whatever), it'd be a big help.

There's no money, but you'd be credited and would be helping to get the sport "out there".

  • I"m not sure how much I fit in any of that description, but if I can help then I will, sure.

This is the first I've heard of the website. :-s

Let me know what you need Bill.

Maybe you could write up something about beginners polo? I was just looking through some photos of beginners from last year, and there are guys & girls in the pics who have developed into very, very good players, who perhaps would not have, had they started in 'big boys' throw-ins.

  • Yeah that sounds cool, I can do.
Any of the old Quorn Roaders mind if I feature you?

    Nice project.

  • BTW, beginners is one of the best things that has ever happened to London polo.

  • I'll write something jono.

  • Ha, nice one Bill. Your support means a lot.

We had our first ever tap out last night.

    #moment

  • Nice one B, shout if you need anything from me, Fixed Gear need something by the 21st of August (up to 6-pages including images). Marc's after stuff for Steel (500 page LO write-up or other bike polo article). There's some sites/blog stuff too which I think I'll write a generic press release for.

  • I think I can do the 500 words. Deadline?

Maybe the thread title needs to be changed (and perhaps moved to LPC?) to bike polo article wanted/needed?

  • I just wrote something. I'll send it to Steel, cc you in on the mail.
It's quite short but has a specific angle, i could easily do a different angle for another publication. I think Bill should look at this too maybe give a very different angle himself...bill cc'd

  • Got.

  • I think I'd like to do something. Haven't written more than 200 words since my dissertation.

I specialise in airy-fairy bullshit. Give me a topic and I'll go.

  • Go for it and you can take your pick really: Growth of polo, London Open 2011, UK National Series, The Future of Polo, Your Polo Experience to Date, Why Should Someone Play Polo? London Bike Polo, A Day in the Life of a Polo Player, My Polo Bike, or anything else you can think of...

  • Done the beginners piece, just digging out photos.
LPC should definitely have a generic press pack as well.

    Good times.

  • Snoops should do an opinion piece, no longer than 1 000 words on:

    The Future of Polo

(^ serious suggestion - if you have trouble keeping it below 1 000 words, I can help you edit it down)

"How to cheat at bike polo and get away with it"

  • Let me do an opinion piece on Max's bike, one word.

  • So I'm got in touch with the guy and I'm going to write some coaching stuff. Any requests?

    More better grammar?

  • Troll.

    Just saying!

  • do a bench write up, we were discussing in the pub last night that the bench minor practise was one of my fave things last year.
