I think that steel is the way to go after doing a little research.
My frame is BB30, so the cups are the bottom bracket shell, in a way, so it's not a great idea to replace the bearings every month as some have had to do with the Cannondale ceramic bearings.
And this decision saves me £40- which is nice.
Ceramic bearings are fecking hard. If the BB is poorly designed. They will trash it. Cup/bearing alignment is more important than bearing material. So if you needed to go for a non-cannondale BB to get relible ceramics. You'd want to be bloody sure they would fit with at least as good tolerances as the stock dales.
