In amazing fail mode, Square Enix have decided that Dues Ex pc version will be region locked (at least for key registration).

God, why ? There's no reason, what's the advantage etc.. ? I can't see any reason to keep using stupid region locks

At least they'll be able to offer appropriate replacements. But all I suspect is it will create more and unnecessary work for them.

square enix are weird, it's the only way to explain it. As a former FFXI player I have experienced how awkward they make everything.

Damn EA and their marketing. I so don't want to be disappointed by this...

watched the BF3 caspian trailer last night, it is indeed looking pretty cool, will be one of the few games i buy the week it comes out.

what i hate about bf3 is that it's going to drain my bank account, becuase there's no way that i'll want to play something that awesome without all the settings maxed out, which new computer time.

You'll have so much morr time to play games once you've been dumped (N.B Skyrim and the new COD will be out then too so you'll need the extra time).

I am also interested in formula 1 2011, Elder Scrolls, Forza 4 and a few others.

I am a bit concerned that I might become a bit socially awkward over the next few months as I spend most of my spare time shooting people, Shooting aliens, beating baddies up and climbing buildings.

Wait, I think I figured out the editions. One is a normal version of the game, but is called limited edition, one is the game + a comic book and is called augmented edition, and one is the game, comic book, and toy, and is the collector's edition.

Depending on the retailer:

• Silenced Sniper Rifle

• 10,000 extra credits

or

• EXPLOSIVE MISSION PACK

• Exclusive mission: Tong's Rescue

• Multi-shot Grenade Launcher

I'm all about the Explosive Mission pack simply for a mission involving Tracer Tong

Note the Tactical pack is only available ordering from certain retailers in the states, which you can do.

Hmm - the HMV website says you get both sets of stuff in their edition - £34.91...

Ok, so the extra mission is on the cheapo limited edition copy. £37 from Amazon with the extra shipping to get it on release day. In.

The only UK site I can where you can pre-order a PC version (Augmented with explosive pack) is HMV which sucks. The others don't have a buy link that I can see. Play pre-order is the cheapest but no option to actually buy the augmented version, even though they have a page for it - they just don't have a Buy Now button.

Xbox 360. I wish I had a PC powerful enough to game on :(

Don't forget that SE are region locking PC games now.
