Ladies Ldn to Brighton Ride - Saturday 1st October

I'd love to come along on this ride.
It'll be my first long ride, and i'd be doing it fixed. Do you think that's a bad idea?
Guess i can fit in some long ish rides before then.

The only thing i have to say is that there are some massive downhills and if you don't like going fast downhill then consider single speed with two brakes (I fucked up and only had a front brake when I did it) or gears.
