Did you ever have the basket that went on the front? I am just curious to see what goes onto the front rack.

its a shitty wire basket.I dont know if my friend had it. I've seen them on bikes locked up around london.
You could mount any basket on the front. Kind of a good idea as the weight will not affect handling as much as a handlebar mounted basket. -

If your friend wants to split the saddle from the bike I'm looking for a Brook like that for my wife...

I will pm you if the buyer doesn't want the brooks.
Selling this for my friend. not really your typical lfgss bike but maybe someone likes it.
more photos available on request. The colour is a great mint green of sorts. the photos don't do it justice.
Gorgeus Raleigh Caprice stepthrough bike in lovely condition. About 30 years old and it runs well with very little damage to the original paint. The bike comes with a Brooks Honey Saddle with springs, B66, £60, and hand made chrome mudguards from Giles Berthoud worth £60. The frame is about a 21in suited for someone 150cm to 180cm. It has a rear rack and a frame mounted front for a basket.
I will also include the original Raleigh white saddle along with the Brooks.
It has 3 speed Sturmey Archer gear system that works well.
Also included is a front and rear Union lights with a dynamo.
