speaking to workmates today who were at the cycling event working,
parently, the houses on the route had been told about this months ago,
they werent unhappy, in fact one anecdote was a woman claiming she hadnt enjoyed a quiet morning like it for years.
no one says jack shit when Silverstone causes miles and hours of 'traffic jams' i.e people who have chosen to sit in their cars.
