As I see it you're kind of equivalent to someone's parent discovering email and the internet and then resending all those shitty junk mails we all read before the 2nd and the first time they went round. Might be new to you though..
The internet is dynamic. People come and go. Just because you have seen it before doesn't mean everyone else has, go outside, live a little, stop being an "expert". The most repetitive content on the internet is "This is a repost." Think about that.
If something's been posted further up the same page then point it out and the poster will probably let out an embarrassed whimper, otherwise deal with it, this isn't your internet, no-one cares what you have/haven't seen.
