Ewan I can't really fault any of your arguments I am just suggesting that Top Gear staging something and upsetting environmentalists is hardly Epic Fail it is more like "business as usual"!
I also find George Monbiot entirely obnoxious. He clearly hasn't watched the show.
The cars didn't "unexpectedly" run out of charge "leaving them stranded in Lincoln".
Viewers were most certainly NOT left with that impression.
I counted at least 3 separate shots of the charge-o-meter or whatever it is that shows the remaining range of the car.
Guess what? It's just like a fuel gauge. Car companies aren't that dumb.
There simply isn't any news here...
