Probably not anyone on here but maybe someone you know - I was offered for sale in Hackney (Clarence Road of all places...) a brand spanking new red Commencal hardtail today. Looked like it had been ridden about twice. I don't know anything about mtb kit but the rear mech read x7 and it had black anodised rims, rock shox forks or similar up front.
It was so obviously nicked that looking back I'm a bit ashamed that I didn't let the little scrote have a piece of my mind, but then I had the baby with me and, like I say, Clarence Road.
Anyways, if you or someone you know has had one go walk about, or if anyone's local bike shop got done on Monday night, then it's being ridden around lower clapton by a 15/16 year old white kid sporting the classic newera-cap-under-hood combo.
