Thought it'd be worth mentioning on the forum [though i hold out no hope of recovery]...My 24" 1997 team floval flyer got stolen from Ideal last night. It is polished aluminium ball burnished frame/chrome aheadset landing gear forks/s+m redneck stem/crupi square cage pedals/crupi hubs [black]/ukai polished rims/s+m prince albert cranks [3rd run]/redline flite 44t sprocket/comp 3's.....a unique and rare item. would be a miracle to get it back but figured asking bike minded people might be worth a shot. as the prime time for riding this bike was the early 00's i don't know if i have any distinct photos to hand but if i do i'll post 'em. thanks in advance.

Go to the sunday car boot (at the wholesale market) this sunday. Most of birminghams thieves sell their swag either themselves milling about the entrance or sell em on to stallholders for reselling.
I reckon you have a decent chance of it turning up somewhere, it sounds pretty distinctive.

I'm happy the riotting didn't spread through to Coventry. Really proud.
(it's probably cause the city is empty now with all the students gone and there is no one to take part lol)
Excellent police work in preparation! I hope we can always be that way.

Gerrard Batten MEP (UKIP) wanted to call in the army!
Saw a few kids (13-17) getting nicked in town today.

An ex-soldier friend of mine informs me that the UK doesnt actually have any infantry who are trained to deal with riots/crowd control. Back when they were in Ireland they did, but not anymore.

He emphasised, "enough trained soldiers to deal with public disorder IMPUNE TO LEGAL ACTION".
It seems they realise the potential consequences of everything they do being filmed.
