I watched Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo this weekend, really good film portraying the lives of teenage junkies in late 70's West Berlin. Obviously it's fairly bleak and might not be one for you if you're scarred of needles. The Bowie soundtrack is pretty ace as well.

Just about to watch it again. More grit than a bus lane.

Saw 'Super 8' during the week, and it turned out to be way better than I thought it was going to be. (Was going by how terrible Cloverfield was.) The performance of the mainly child cast was impressive. The story was sound and was well put together. Not hard Sci Fi but something everyone can relate to. The only thing is you can't quite place when in the 80s the movie is set. But that isn't really a problem. A worthwhile trip to the cinema.

Last night I saw 'Rise of The Planet of the Apes' and was totally blown away could not fault this movie in any way. Go see it! Might even be my favourite movie of the big summer movies.

Gonna go and try to see 'The Devil's Double' tomorrow.
