I am *not *in. I can't believe a fellow scout would place some stupid overnight audax over the polo nationals... You know it's going to be beardy wierdies and London Nu-Rave hipsters.

Harsh! I'm going too now, sorry Dan W... already have a coach space booked.

Next year maybe as I've got nowhere near enough miles under my belt to enter

If only I had of seen this a few days ago. My flatmate and I are heading down to this, we have already booked a hotel for the night before so I can take my car to Dunwich and then get a train to London to do this.
If you guys have trouble getting enough for a minibus and need a lift let me know. As long as we can sort a roof rack and the back rack I can get another two in.
I know people who have done this before and said its an unbelievable experience seeing a trail of 700+ lights going over the hills and countryside.

It looks like we've just about filled the van so we should be good thanks (fingers crossed).
Might see you on the beach...

Scratch the above -** looks like we have one seat left in the van.**
Anyone else fancy it?

Gone! If its successful I'll keep you posted for next year. Or maybe we should just organise our own night ride West to the sea in Wales?

Or maybe we should just organise our own night ride West to the sea in Wales?
I'd want to do one in the daytime as a test run, Weston Super Mare is the closest to Birmingham isn't it but riding to my Motherland overnight would be cool.

Weston would be fun! Anywhere with a beach would be fun...

Maybe we need to do a few test rides -
-It needs to have a bit of poetics to the final location
-A good beach and cafe
-between 100 and 120mile
-Not to hillyWestwards would be more logical but Eastwards you get rewarded with a sunrise. Maybe a late september daytime ride to test?

Close proximity to a train station at the finish would be useful as well

Thought I would share the video I did from footage taken on the ride this year. Definitely up for this test ride, let me know the details.

Return Wagon from Dunwich to Birmingham following the Dunwich Dynamo Ride.
I understand there is a little interest so thought I'd furnish you all with a little more info;
Myself and a few friends are going to ride the Dunwich Dynamo on the 16th July. If you fancy joining us we are entertaining the idea of renting a minibus/van to get us back from Dunwich avoiding the long and painful train journey back.
You will need to make your own way to the start line in London (currently about £10.50 single by train).
Return trip via minibus/van approximately £25. This will vary depending on final fuel costs but I have made a fair gestimate, and numbers in the van. Van seats 7 or 9 people in the cab with a seperate hold in the back for the bikes.
