Might be interested but new 60D body £6-700, £146 new lens I don't need. How flexible are you on price?

I suspect you have the lens confused with the 18-50 T2.8-4.5 which is not as nice a lens (and is obviously slower).

Ta. Yeah, I just did a quick google Shopping search. Not familar with the lens at all just wanted rough idea of new cost.

Its a great lens optically and on the smaller chip it gives you a really good focal length range as a walk about lens (try and find a T2.8 canon zoom and see how much it costs you!)

lens is old,the newer one is around £400 new, this is a fairly good buy however the lens can occasionally be picked up on ebay around the £130 mark.

i'm a nikon guy so no need for this but I'd say it's not that bad of a deal. " is not as nice a lens" depends what for, it's OS and hsm.

Also, enjoy the bump.

All the ones sold on ebay went for over £150.

I sold the same lens in Nikon fit for £220 a few months ago. You'll get more on eBay than here if you can be arsed to create a listing with good pics, proof of purchase etc.

True about the lens. Regularly reach £200+ on eBay. Would love to sell the whole lot to someone who would use it.
