Came home through Lewisham 30 mins ago and a van had been abandoned and was full of smoke (something in the back on fire i think) in middle of a side street with police just blocking off the high street to traffic. My nerves are getting fucking shot.

To be fair, and hopefully to save your nerves a bit, there are normally loads of random fires all over the place every single night whether there are riots or not. It just seems that the police aren't taking any chances whatsoever whenever any 999 call goes in at the minute. Hopefully this one will turn out to be some dickhead flicking a benson in the wrong place.
