Any forumengers resident in the USA who could act as a shipping address for me. There is a chap on the bay who will only post to the states. I desperately want to buy what he has for sale so I need a US resident who is prepared to receive the goods and forward them to me in the UK. Absolutely legal and above board and I am willing to pay for the service. PM me if you can help.
Hi mate,
I run a vehicle import/export company, if you can get it shipped to my agents in Houston, then can get it shipped over in the next container, you would have to provide the dimension of the box as my agents would charge a pro rata rate, which I would do at cost, the frame would arrive into probably Felixstowe or Chatham and you would have to collect from there, if the value is low, then Duty and VAT would be minimal.
Let me know if I can help.

Wonder if they could stick some cranks in the same box?

My agents work on consignments, so if they arrive in the same box as dkmike then they would treat it as one consignment.
You don't want to know what the charge would be if they shipped it separately !

States in his listing 'Having had this bike appraised by local bike dealer -it is now available at a realistic price.' Look at his completed listings and he previously tried to sell it for £1050.00, so his realistic price is £300.00 more than previously.
Hurry tho as you have 6 hours to bid. Seriously though, who is going to bid that sort of money when he has just one piccie.

Did cross my mind. I was watching it, but ended up buying a Dawes minus wheels for £30 last night instead. It'll probably be a better bike in the end.
