^^ yep all that crossed my mind and I'm glad nothing happened. But 999 was dead, there were no police in the immediate area. A few pellets on the arse/legs could also have sent them packing, they didn't look that brave to be honest, the slightest bit of confrontation or hassle and they were moving on, it was all a big game for them or so it seemed. If my car outside my flat had have been torched it would have set fire to the tree, which in turn probably would have set fire to the flat. I had no idea what to do except grab the air rifle and keep an eye out, plus a couple of large rums for medicinal purposes.
