@ Garnett - hmmm, well 90% of the rioters I saw in Peckham were young black males but then roughly 80 to 90% of the young men I see in Peckham (say when going shopping for example) are black. From travelling along Walworth Rd (although I don't live there I don't live far away) I'd say the vast majority of young men I see in that area are black. So the fact that most of the rioters both on Walworth Rd and in Peckham were black shouldn't really come as much of a surprise.
I don't see what your point is really? I don't think you're being racist it's just the population of these areas, non? But I'm surprised you're surprised as you live there and mingle with the population on a daily basis.
