I've been looking for something similar for the past two weeks. Depends on your def. of cheap and good, really, but there are a few nice bike shops.
I used this blog: http://maxutility.wordpress.com/2009/12/13/bike-shops-in-berlin/
And the one I think is closest to what you may be looking for is Stahlwolle
Warschauer Str. 45, 10243 Berlin

You could get one from the flea market in Mauer Park, though my friend said they were all stolen  My other friend bought his from there, though, so you might get a good deal :)
Not an Ebay fan?

Thanks a lot will check that out, ebay's an option, just a bit complicated with tight timings/and pick ups etc
Have had a look through some of the Berlin threads already, couldn't find anything about buying bikes over there, and don't want to spend the whole time looking around bike shops(!)
SO! Berliners, former Berliners, any recommendations of where to look for a cheapish good enough tourer/racer?
Second hand dealers, markets, bike squats, junk yards?
Vielen Dank!
